'Diesel John' helps 'Fat Bob' to look after the cows at the Doddington Dairy and he's also a mechanic, keeping the farm machinery in working order, although there are times when we despair of his determination to keep things going.

His favourite ice cream is "Utter Chocolate" because he knows that the fresh whole milk is mixed with rich dark chocolate, plently of double cream, some sugar and a hint of vanilla to produce an ice cream which is "Utter Chocolate" - a chocoholics dream!
